Cassandra Gemini
The song became an instant favorite of mine upon first hearing it back in 2018. This song in particular is roughly 1/2 an hour long and manages to maintain a provocative momentum throughout its playtime, Something I thought would be good to utilize my hard-edge typeface for as texture.
The typography was inspired by an earlier project where students were inspired to create abstract forms of typography. The one I made from that class was this circuit board like layout to form the word waveshaper. From there I refined the type to be more authentic yet maintain its own abstract personality.
